How we met the brief

Customised waterproof shade sail, supported by steel posts, and further supported by roof posts and rafter brackets. Designed to cover the outdoor dining and entertainment area.
We met the brief by designing a customized waterproof sail which was attached to 3 steel posts and fixed and supported by 3 roof posts and 3 rafter brackets. The posts were fixed into the ground with concrete footings. The sail was manufactured from Rainbow DRI-Z waterproof fabric with a 7 year warranty. All hems were double stitched using tennara thread with a 15 year life span. All corners were re-inforced and 316 grade stainless wire was sewn around the sail perimeter for strength and shape when tensioned. All fittings used were 316 grade stainless steel.
